how it works

XASTing has a modular structure. There is a basic configuration that can be expanded with additional modules. You can add these if this is necessary for the application. In this way you always put together the ideal configuration and therefore do not pay for modules that you never use.

Base configuration

screen management

In XASTing you have full control over your hardware, done through screen management. Monitoring screens, setting orientations and rebooting screens can all be done from your webbrowser.

loops

Our simple loops form the basis of fullscreen content and allow you to fill a playlist in a matter of seconds. Simply upload, drag & drop your content, arrange them and distribute them to your devices. Ideal and sufficient if you have lots of simple and ready-made content!

extended editor

In case your playlist consists of more complex content, the user interface provides a graphical ‘Extended Editor’ that is similar to Adobe Photoshop. This allows the end user to freely build, edit, and format content from a “blank canvas” ensuring a full WYSIWYG experience.

schedules

In case you have content that should only be visible at a certain time, content can be scheduled via the ‘schedules module’, a drag & drop based calender in which you can place one-time contents as well as recurring ones. Schedules are assigned to screens, after which the screen will show the content like clockwork.

live data integrations

Keep your content data driven and relevant through smart links with live data sources. Our platform allows end users to add live data sources within XASTing and then visualize that data in graphs and tables without the need for custom code while still having lots of customization options like: colors, fonts, sizes and positions.

sensor integration

Our sensor platform matches content with external sensors, this enables end-users to create fully dynamic contents based on external events. It starts with our presence sensor which can change content on the fly when it measures people in proximity. It goes furter from here, with touchless swipe sensors and camera recognition modules. All our hardware works seamlessly within XASTing to give users a dynamic experience.

If you want to sell visibility on your screen on a commercial base this is possible with XASTing. With this module you can create campaigns within the platform, any piece of content assigned to a campaign will use some credit. You will be able to see just how much credit is being used by every campaign, so you can charge accordingly.
